No group member may climb without the instructor’s supervision, and it is vital that you listen to and co-operate with instructors and centre staff at all times.
Sessions must start and end on time. If a group/participant is late, the session will not be run over to accommodate this. This is because we usually have sessions running back-to-back your specific time slot has been allocated.
The Pinnacle Climbing Centre reserves the right to cancel any course if there is not a minimum of 4 people attending. We will try to give 24 hours notice of the cancellation of a course wherever possible.
All bookings are made direct with The Pinnacle Climbing Centre/Pinnacle Challenge Limited, and a minimum non-refundable deposit of 50% or £30 (whichever is greater) must be made at the time of booking either by cash, credit or debit card. (The only exception to this is if you hold a credit account with us). NB. Until the deposit has been paid the booking remains unconfirmed.
The minimum deposit once paid is non-refundable, however:-
If you cancel your booking up to 3 weeks (21 days) before the booked session The Pinnacle Climbing Centre will refund the full amount you have paid, less an administration fee of £15.
If you cancel your booking within 3 weeks (21 days), but more than 48 hours in advance of the booked session the Pinnacle Climbing Centre will refund any monies paid over and above the 50% non-refundable deposit paid, or allow you to rebook your session in an alternative available time slot.
If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of your booked session you will be liable for the full cost of the booking.
In the event of a later cancellation due to an unforeseen medical emergency, ie within 48 hours of your booked session, if you provide written documentary evidence from your doctor, we may, at the sole discretion of the centre management be able to reschedule your booking.
In the event of adverse weather conditions, when the official body’s recommendations are that it is unsuitable to drive we may, at the sole discretion of the centre management be able to reschedule your booking.
