"Friendly and Fun Climbing Centre"

"The Northampton University Climbing Club has been going to the Pinnacle for many years now. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
There are many routes for all different climbing abilities and the choice of top rope, lead and bouldering as well as the fun caving experience!
Hundreds of students have learnt to climb here and loved the experience and there will continue to be many more students to come."  TripAdvisor - Esther P - 28/11/15

''Friendly and Approachable''

''Friendly and Approachable''

I felt very welcomed bringing our group to your centre.  Your staff were always friendly and approachable making the atmosphere really nice for us all.

The children excelled on your higher walls and really enjoyed themselves, begging me to organise another trip to you soon!
Also the music was excellent!  That’s from me and the kids, they loved it!  One comment I had from one of the boys was ‘’this music makes me want to crush that route’’ which he proceeded to Onsight!

So over all we had a very pleasant experience with you!  Special Thanks to Tom for putting up with us haha.

Thanks,

"Good routes and friendly staff"

"Really good set of boulder problems, surprising amount of variation for the size, especially compared with some other walls. And great cakes!"  TripAdvisor - David Maynard- 24/11/15

"Good wall, great staff, friendly customers"

"Great place for indoor climbing with really good variety in both bouldering and roped routes, both of which are reset on a regular basis. Staff are very friendly and always willing to offer advice and the regulars are friendly, making it an ideal place to begin climbing. Lots to do for kids and the indoor caving system is a real bonus" TripAdvisor - KerrySmash -27/11/15

"Great place for kids and adults"

"Pinnacle climbing centre is a great place for both kids and adults. I take my 7 year old son several times a month and he loves it. The caving experience is a unique element and great fun for kids...much more challenging than you think for adults too (especially if you're tall).

For more serious climbers this a great place to go with plenty of routes to challenge you whether its in the bouldering area or in the main climbing room. This is a great place to meet like minded individuals and make great friends.

The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly and always willing to provide tips and encouragement." - TripAdvisor - JamesK - 25/11/15

“An excellent place for kids parties right through to hardcore climbing training.”

“An excellent place for kids parties right through to hardcore climbing training.”

"We took our daughter and 7 other kids aged (10 to 13) to The Pinnacle Climbing Centre for her 11th Birthday Party. The centre is tucked away on an industrial estate in Far Cotton (Northampton) and from the outside looks something and nothing, however when you get inside you are confronted with what I can only describe as the most amazing climbing wall facility I have ever seen!! Climbs are ranked / graded in difficulty from 2 to 9 and the Pinnacle has climbs that go from grade 2 to grade 8.
On arrival we filled in some paperwork and then the kids were kitted out with climbing footwear, helmets and harnesses. They were then given some clear 'Safety Rules' by instructor Robert (thanks Rob) and then did some warm-up climbing on some of the low (8m) walls upstairs. I'm pleased to say Safety was taken seriously as you'd expect, (and hope), at an extreme sport facility like this. After the kids had all 'had a go' on the starter walls the group moved downstairs to climb on the 12m high walls. The 1.5 hour party session ended in the 'Bouldering room' where you can climb 'rope free' on lower walls as the floor is all crash mats. At the end of the 1.5 hour session we'd hired one of the centre's function rooms and had some party food, before receiving certificates and heading home having all had a fabulous experience. As well as the climbing wall Pinnacle also has a 'Caving' facility, climbing equipment sales, instructor training and club activities, etc. There are toilets, lockers and changing rooms, a Café and sofa's to chill out on while you take a break or sit and watch people climb... Fabulous, we'll be back and we'll certainly be recommending it to our friends." - TripAdvisor - Roberts69 - 05/09/15

 “Great experience!”

“Great experience!”

"Came here with my 16 year old and one of his friends so they could try caving. They had a fantastic time and the 45 min session seemed to fly by. The staff were really helpful, knowledgeable and friendly plus I was very impressed they had baby changing facilities (I also had my 8 month old with me). The only reason it's a 4 star review is because the big cafe was closed and I had been looking forward to chilling in there whilst the boys were having fun. The big comfy sofa at the bottom was nice though." - TripAdisor - CHG1 - 26/08/15

"Great Family Fun!"

"We held my daughter's 10th birthday party at the centre today and a fantastic time was had by all. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and I was particularly impressed with their support and patience with my five year old daughter who went in nervous and came home a climbing pro!" - TripAdvisor - tarn40 - 8/8/15
