New Lead Climbing Course Date!
Date: Monday 5th March 2012
Time: 7.30pm - 9.30pm
For those of you comfortable with your top rope climbing, and wishing to take your climbing to the next level, The Pinnacle Climbing Centre Lead Climbing Course could be exactly what you need!
Run over 3 consecutive weeks, the course will cover everything you need to know to lead climb independently at any indoor climbing centre, and is the first step to becoming a competent and safe outdoor climber! Over the 3 weeks you will learn:
- Safe belaying techniques for lead belaying, using a variety of devices
- Correct clipping techniques whilst lead climbing
- How to hold (and take!) leader falls
- Correct movement technique and energy saving methods whilst on the lead
